Manifesto

The best recommendation algorithm is a human.

Pull, not push.

You come to read. Nothing chases you. There is no feed engineered to keep you scrolling, no badge counting down your attention. A board sits still until you decide to open it.

Curation is the product.

A link is worth more because a person you trust put it there. We do not rank by engagement or guess what you might click next. The judgment of one careful human beats a model trained to keep you online.

No applause machine.

No likes, no comments, no follower counts on display. The work is the shelf, not the performance around it. Only the creator sees how often a resource was opened, and that is for them, not for show.

Calm is a feature.

The interface stays quiet so the content can speak. Density where it helps you read, silence everywhere else. We would rather you close the tab satisfied than keep you here another minute.

The reader owns their time.

You follow what you want, at the depth you want: a whole profile, one board, or a single list. You read on your schedule. We send less, not more.

If that sounds like the internet you wanted, build a board.
